How The Warhawk Electric Strike and Card Reader Lock Kit Works

The magnetic lock kit is installed at the top of the push side of the door frame. The armature plate attaches to the top of the push side of the door. The power supply with controller is installed above or near the hollow metal door. A request to exit sensor is mounted to the top of the door frame on the push side. A request to exit button is installed on the interior side of the door. On the outside of the hollow metal door, the card reader is installed. All components are wired together following the provided wiring diagram or matrix.

How To Enter

Keypad Reader Entry: Use an authorized pin code to enter into the security key pad. This will automatically release the electric magnetic lock, allowing you to pull the door open.

How To Exit

All pedestrians will exit the building by pushing exit button and activating the overhead sensor, this will deactivate the maglock, allowing the door to be pushed open.
