Commando HD Grade 1 Commercial Exit Device Push Bar With Top and Bottom Vertical Rod Locking and Outside Clutch Entrance Escutcheon Lever Handle For Metal Doors
Commando surface vertical rod exit devices, or more commonly called SVR exit devices are second to none. Unlike concealed vertical rod exit devices, an the Commando surface vertical rod exit device can be retrofitted on any commercial hollow metal or wood door. The heavy duty vertical locking rods attach to the face of the door and provide increased security compared to a standard rim exit device, since the door will now have 2 points of contact for locking (latchbolts are located at the top and bottom of the vertical rods). Our Commando surface vertical rod exit devices earned their name, "Commando", from the noticeable durability and long lasting life span they had on some of the busiest and most frequently used commercial exit doors. Commando surface vertical rod push bar exit devices are safe and reliable, perfect for any rear exit door in a restaurant, office, warehouse, or other commercial building. These commercial grade vertical locking panic bars are easy to depress allowing anyone to safely exit the building. The Commando vertical rod locking exit device can easily be surface mounted to any commercial wood or steel door. It is also very easy to retrofit or replace an existing defective surface vertical rod panic bar with our Commando SVR exit device.
